Job Description

To provide an efficient refuse collection service within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Cleaner Communities Service Plan and the Community Plan

Responsibilities

The Individual

These posts are full time temporary positions based at Ayr Road Depot Cumnock or Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock.

Due to the nature of the post you will be required to travel within East Ayrshire.

Please confirm your preferred location on the application form and this will be discussed further at the interview stage.

The hours of work are 37 per week working; Monday - Thursday 6.30am - 2.30pm and Friday 6.30am - 2.00pm.

The full time salary is £28,533 - £29,880 per annum.

Please note you must have a Clean Class C driving licence to apply for this post.

7 posts are temporary until 31st March 2027 and 1 post is temporary until 30th September 2026.
