Full Job Description
- Lead a team of 10+ Field Performance Leaders and 100+ merchandisers, delivering 1500+ calls weekly.
- Ensure KPI delivery in call coverage, quality, training, recruitment, and absence management.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and compliance (WTD, H&S, HR policies).
- Manage payroll hours, resource planning, and performance issues.
- Drive operational efficiency through reterritorisation and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with recruitment and planning teams to meet resourcing needs.
- Represent the region in head office and client meetings; act as cover for line manager.
- Promote a positive, professional culture aligned with Smiths News values.
Proven experience in retail operations management and remote team leadership. - Strong track record in KPI delivery, change management, and business improvement.
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to create training materials and reports.
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a hands-on leadership style.
