Registered Veterinary Nurse

A mixed first opinion practice vet practice just outside of Glasgow is looking for a confident RVN to join their team in an exciting time of refurbishment. Their brand new, modern, practice includes some state-of-the-art facilities to develop your clinical skills in a supportive, client focussed environment. This practice has served the community for over 100 years and have a highly experienced team who prioritise the highest level of care and compassion. The role includes a varied caseload including:

• Caring for both medical and surgical patients post op
• Assisting vets in both theatre and prep area
• Ordering and stock control of pharmacy
• Caring for isolation patients
• Lab work
Their modern, purpose-built facilities include:
• A fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring
• Ultrasound scanner
• Digital radiography, including dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment.
The Rota
• Full-time 40 hours (part time considered)
• No on call duties
• Weekends 1:4
