About the Role
Do you want a rewarding role, working with a great team of people, where you can make a real difference in people's lives? Real Life Options is a national social care provider, and we're looking for someone like you to join our team. We will support you on your career path to learn, develop, and grow. You'll become part of a dedicated team of experienced support workers, assisting individuals within the care home. On a typical day, you'll help promote independence and support people to meet their chosen goals. This includes help with daily living skills such as personal care, and medication administration. The individuals we support enjoy a variety of meaningful activities each day, and you'll play a key role in encouraging and enabling them to achieve their life goals in a safe and happy environment. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks
- Encourage social interaction with friends, family, and community events and promote independence
- Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments
- Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided
- Communicate effectively with the team, family members
- Work independently and as part of a supportive team

This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check will be required for successful applicants.
