Whether you are driven by enabling others or simply just passionate about swimming, being a swimming instructor is an incredibly rewarding career. Even if you have not already obtained a recognised swim teaching qualification, but you are keen to learn, you will be provided with the opportunity to gain this on an upcoming course November/December 2026 organised by Aberdeenshire Council, in Stonehaven.

If successful you will become part of an already motivated team, but require to bring a willingness to learn and the ability to embrace new concepts. In return our bespoke, ongoing training programme will provide you with the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

There is a requirement to undertake manual handling on a daily basis. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This job will be mainly late afternoon/early evenings and Saturdays, additional hours might be available.
