Repairs Assistant - 3 Months

Repairs Officer required for a rolling month contract supporting a local Housing Association based in Edinburgh. This is a 3 month role, however may be extended.

You will join an existing asset team supporting the wider housing functions within the association. By helping meet the needs of clients and contractors, you will act as the main point of contact as well as the face of the organisation. This means you will be both customer facing and dealing with contractors/trades and maintenance staff. So strong communication and IT skills are essential.

This job requires a high level of administrative and customer service skills. A background in housing is essential alongside some form of factoring experience. Candidates from a housing officer background would be considered. This would ideally be from social housing or similar. Any qualification specific to housing such as the diploma would be a bonus however not essential. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are required to negate some of the complexities that are associated with this role.
