What you will be doing
- Deliver engaging learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes under the guidance of a teacher.
- Support teachers with planning, preparing and adapting lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas to accelerate pupil progress.
- Monitor, assess and record pupil achievement, providing feedback to support future learning.
- Help create positive, inclusive learning environments where pupils feel confident, supported and motivated.
- Mentor and support Teaching Assistants, promoting high standards and collaborative working.
- Prepare and organise learning resources, classroom environments and teaching materials.
- Support educational visits, enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
We're looking for someone who: - Holds SCQF Level 6 (or equivalent).
- Is passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential.
- Has a strong understanding of teaching and learning and can confidently lead learning activities.
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Is organised, proactive and able to adapt to the changing needs of the school.
- Communicates effectively and works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.
