Established in Scotland, the heart of UK agriculture, Harbro has been supplying farmers with quality livestock nutrition since 1977, focused on improving animal performance and its customers’ profitability.

Our network of Harbro Country Stores and Murray Farmcare stores are located throughout Scotland and the North of England from Cumbria to Shetland. Supplying both the farming and wider rural community with animal health products, farming supplies, equestrian, pet food, wild bird feed and everything required for rural life.

We're seeking an energetic and dynamic Retail Supervisor to join our thriving Earlston Country Store team and help us continue our legacy of excellence.

The Role:

More than just a job, this is an opportunity to become an integral part of a passionate team that serves the heart of rural Scotland. You'll work closely with our Store Manager to create an outstanding retail experience that goes beyond simple transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire our sales team to achieve exceptional performance
  • Champion our company values and create a positive store environment
  • Masterfully manage stock levels and store presentation
  • Drive staff training and professional development
  • Contribute to the seamless daily operations of our busy country store

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Naturally friendly, engaging, and supremely confident
  • Comfortable and skilled in customer interactions
  • Knowledgeable about farm, equine, and pet markets
  •  A collaborative team player with a professional demeanour
  • Sharp with numbers and articulate in communication
  • Physically fit and ready for a hands-on role

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Background in agricultural, equine, or pet industries
  • SQP - Animal Medicine qualification (training available)

Role Details:

·      40 hours per week on a flexible rota

·      Monday to Friday, including weekend shifts
