Full Job Description
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment. Job purpose/about the role The Road operative 3 will be responsible for working as part of a team to contribute towards maintaining the road network.The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
- Full Driving License
- Class C Driving Licence with CPC Certificate
Experience supervising and co-ordinating resources - Proven ability to work on own initiative within a squad
- Proven ability to take a logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
- Proven ability to support the management of contracts and associated contractors
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively
- Proven ability to manage a real time workload while delivering on key objectives.
- Proven ability to carry out Supervision
- Proven ability to monitor and implement Health and Safety requirements
