Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Roofers to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in using power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting. Responsibilities: - Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings - Repair and replace damaged or worn-out roofs - Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, or deterioration - Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions - Install insulation and vapor barriers - Fabricate and install flashing to prevent water penetration - Apply roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets - Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed - Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment Experience: - Proven experience as a Roofer or similar role - Proficient in using power tools and
hand tools relevant to roofing work - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and welding techniques related to roofing - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
