Full Job Description

The Sales Director is responsible for the shaping and executing the SBU commercial strategy to drive sustainable, long term revenue growth. The role leads the sales functions across, Area Sales, Inside-sales and End-to End post sales ownership, building high-performing teams and developing trusted customer and partner relationships. The Sales Director works closely with the executive team to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.,

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Look at market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity in conjunction with the Market Development Director to identify sales growth opportunities.
  • Ensure Right First Time, Contract Management, Rental Management, Service & maintenance and Shipment Management.
  • Ensure Right First Time, Quotation and Quote Confirmation.
  • Set clear revenue targets, forecasting models, and performance metrics, to remain proactive and competitive in the market and support stakeholder conversations
  • Partner effectively and collaboratively cross functionally, through effective S&I&OP meetings, to ensure alignment to business goals and effective decision-making processes
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and pricing strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, by establishing a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build a robust succession plan across key sales areas

    Proven experience in a senior sales role, within a similar environment
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Proven leadership, people management and communication skills The ability to influence key stakeholder at all levels, inside and outside of the organisation Creative thinking and problem-solving capability. Degree in business, or a related field Strategic vision and commercial acumen, with the ability to lead others through shared goals. The ability to influence at all levels and across all markets The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
