Full Job Description

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding forward thinking organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on a part-time permanent basis, to work 4 days. This post would also allow for some hybrid working. This role would suit a good all-rounder with strong skills in sales ledger, who would like to be part of a small friendly team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for processing invoices and credit notes, managing the sales ledger, resolving customer billing queries and chasing outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.

The main duties:

- Accurately process and record sales invoices and credit notes
- Maintain and update the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
- Proactively chase outstanding debts via phone, email, and letters to ensure timely payment
- Monitor customer credit limits and ensure compliance with company credit policies
- Prepare and present regular reports on outstanding debts and sales ledger status
- Handle and resolve customer queries related to invoices and payments promptly and professionally
- Other ad hoc finance duties

Requirements:

- Sales ledger experience is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented
- Team player
