Sales & Marketing Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth across UK & I by developing and managing relationships with accounts across the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, support account growth, and deliver value through IES solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, managing sales activity, and supporting customers throughout their journey.,

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Track and report pipeline activity to the Division Head.
• Use CRM systems to manage customer information, opportunities and sales activity.
• Conduct online meetings with clients, procurement teams and key decision-makers.
• Support sales campaigns, industry events and customer outreach activities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging, targeting and positioning.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and other client-facing materials.
• Work closely with internal teams including Technical, Product, Sales and Customer Success to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and account activity records.
• Support the growth and retention of existing customer accounts.
  
  Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Proven ability to manage and track sales pipelines.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce desirable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience engaging with clients, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and commercially focused.
Nice to Have
• Experience within software, technology or technical sales environments.
• Knowledge of the AEC sector.
• Experience preparing commercial proposals and presentations.
• Familiarity with IES solutions or similar software platforms.
