School Administrator
Dalry Primary School
Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 17.5 per week, 40 weeks sessional
Working pattern for position is Monday - Friday 08:30 to 12:00
Dalry is a diverse and multicultural primary school & nursery, 5min walk from Haymarket Station. We are looking for a proactive, solution focused School Administrator to join our hard-working and committed team. The successful candidate will operate financial, management information, and budgetary information systems and services for the school. The postholder is responsible for the management and supervision of any administrative support staff. They will manage and deliver a wide range of administrative, clerical, secretarial and general office support services. They will have strong people management skills and be able to multitask in a busy environment, while working closely with the Head Teacher and the wider school staff. They will provide a professional and welcoming front of house service for the busy school office and will be mindful at all times of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
This is an active role working over all floors of a Victorian building with multiple stairs
Experience in office administration, monitoring budgets, keeping financial and other records, and computerised information systems is required. Experience of working in a school is highly desirable, with a knowledge of school processes and information systems.
