School Support Assistant - Fixed term until 29/06/27
St Augustine's RC High School

Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 30 per week, 39 week sessional

08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday; 0800 - 1400 Friday

St Augustine's is a Catholic secondary school of approximately 1060 students situated in the west of the City of Edinburgh. Its catchment area encompasses five Catholic primary schools extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. However, as a result of parental choice, our current S1 contains students drawn from 31 primaries

St Augustine's stresses the importance of high levels of achievement for every student and there is a strong sense of community within the school. All staff of St Augustine's, teaching and non-teaching, are prepared to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole and to play their part as members of the St Augustine's community.

The post is in a busy School Office/reception. Emphasis is on excellent customer service at reception and admin support for the school.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. You will be required to provide this check.
