Full Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and 17 City Square, you will work full time, 37 hours per week within the Members Support Unit., You will ensure the provision of a high quality confidential, proactive, organised and efficient personal and team secretarial support service, including typing, research, compiling responses, electronic scanning and filing, mailing and reprography services. Work co-operatively with colleagues for the provision of an efficient, confidential, and discretionary secretarial support to the Administration Group/Opposition Groups of elected members of the Council, under the supervision of the Senior Executive Assistant - Members' Support Unit.

You will have 2 Highers including English, or relevant SVQ Level 2, or relevant NC, or equivalent, and/or relevant working experience., You will have experience of working in a multi-tasking, computerised, customer services environment and experience of dealing with senior managers.

You will have good written and oral communications skills, the ability to work with people and as part of a team, to work on own initiative, good time management with the ability to cope with change.
