Full Job Description
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and monitor for any suspicious activity. This may involve walking, driving, or using security equipment like cameras.
- Carry out meet and greet duties at front of house
- Manage contractors
- Assist Supervisor in covering adhoc shifts due to holiday and sickness
- Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner such as fire, first aid etc
- Monitoring gatehouse
- Communicate in a calm and professional manner with stakeholders, colleagues, and general public
- Safeguard site assets, including the prevention of theft, vandalism, and damage to equipment
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Ensure site training is kept up to date
Valid SIA License - Proven experience in a similar role beneficial but not required
- Driving License beneficial but not required
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good observation skills
- Be able to stand for periods of time, and carry out patrols
- Good customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Be a team player
- Be flexible within the shift pattern, Gatehouse Security: 1 year (preferred)
- Security: 1 year (preferred)
