Full Job Description
Experteer Overview Senior Maritime Civil Engineer to join Arup's Energy, Water and Resources team in Liverpool or UK North. You will deliver civil and maritime designs across coastal resilience and port development, guiding projects from concept to construction support. Lead technical design, modelling and reporting while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients. This role offers meaningful coastal and port projects with growth opportunities in a fast-expanding maritime practice. Pay / Benefits
- Deliver project work from concept through to detailed design and construction support Provide technical leadership for civil/maritime designs, calculations, models, reports and drawings Manage project design and ensure high-quality reporting Oversee project commercial management including progress and cost monitoring Plan team resources and manage deliverables with supporting disciplines Mentor and develop junior engineers with provided support Tasks Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership Experience in coastal, maritime, or offshore projects Proficiency in producing technical documentation Knowledge of physical modelling and metocean/wave/sediment transport analysis Experience mentoring junior engineers Ability to manage small projects or work packages in multidisciplinary teams Strong stakeholder management and communication Interest in delivering maritime and port infrastructure Willingness to apply transferable civil engineering experience from other sectors Key requirements Profit Share Private medical insurance Life assurance Accident insurance Income protection Flexible benefits
