Senior Commercial Assistant

you'll do:As the lead Commercial Assistant, you will manage higher value and more complex workstreams while supporting and coordinating Commercial Assistants across the team. Your responsibilities will include:Conducting desktop commercial audits on supplier estimates and applications for paymentReviewing reactive and minor works to ensure commercial compliance and value for moneyChallenging supplier submissions and negotiating agreements on behalf of the clientAnalysing data and identifying trends to support commercial insight and reportingManaging supplier queries and contractor escalations through to resolutionSupporting month end activities and facilitating supplier paymentsAttending supplier meetings to resolve queries and review best practiceMonitoring supplier performance against contractual obligationsMaintaining accurate audit trails and transactional commentaryBuilding strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersSupporting continuous improvement

innovation, and knowledge sharing across the wider PPS communityWhat you bring:Essential experience and skills:Previous experience within an FM or Building Services environmentGood understanding of building fabric and M&E terminologyStrong commercial acumen and numerical analysis capabilityExperience analysing data and identifying trends within large datasetsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentEligibility to pass client security vettingDesirable:Degree or working towards qualification in FM, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or similarExperience managing supplier/customer relationshipsKnowledge of PSA/NSR Schedule of RatesExperience using CAFM systemsWhat we offer:Working
