Senior Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide commercial and contractual leadership across the full project lifecycle on a major defence project. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain commercial performance, forecasting, and change control in a highly regulated environment. You will advise Contract Leads, manage contract timelines and governance, and support successful delivery through cost control and effective interfaces. • Contract administration for existing contracts and related communications Provide commercial advice to Contract Leads Ensure contract timelines are met via CEMAR Prepare Applications for Payment and programme submissions Forecast submissions and change management processes Issue early warnings and support bid activity for new contracts Cost control and regular reporting Support progress meetings and client interfaces (CEMAR Supervisor) Coordinate with Contract Leads, Finance, Cost Engineering, and project controls Liaise with client on Learning from Experience Tasks Strong NEC contract experience, preferably NEC4 Professional Services Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate) Ideally degree in Quantity Surveying Ability to manage competing priorities High accuracy and contract compliance Ideally prior CEMAR experience Security clearance required Key requirements
