Senior Customer Service Adviser (3 Posts)

37 hours per week, Shift working over seven days
Permanent
£33,247 - £35,709 / £17.23 - £18.51 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking to recruit three committed and enthusiastic individuals to become part of the Customer Service team within the Orkney Ferries offices.

Senior Customer Service Advisers will provide supervisory support to Customer Service Advisers, while also dealing directly with queries from the public by phone, by email and online. This position will involve ensuring that communications with the public through various channels are clear and inline with the companies brand values, and will also provide the opportunity for involvement in delivery of projects, service improvements and testing of new processes.

You should hold a qualification at SCQF 6/7 (i.e., SVQ3, National Certificate, Foundation Apprenticeship, Scottish Baccalaureate, HNC, Certificate of Higher Education) or, where the essential qualification is not held, you should have a minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to establish good working relationships with all levels of staff and to provide a professional service to the public.
With a busy workload you must be organised and able to work on your own initiative and prioritise work in order to cope with tight deadlines. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential for this role.
