Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data quality analysis and improvements across Ofgem to support trusted data-driven decisions in a regulated environment. You will work in the Data Governance team to monitor quality, set standards, and communicate insights to diverse stakeholders. You will evaluate data products and pipelines, drive improvements, and foster best practices across the organisation. This is a chance to shape data quality governance and enable better decision-making in support of the Net Zero transition. Pay / Benefits

  • Review statistical analyses, data products and pipelines against quality standards and processes Lead data quality improvement initiatives and implement sustainable solutions Promote best practices in data management and quality across the organisation Create dashboards, reports and visualisations to present quality insights to stakeholders Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain findings and influence improvements Support and guide teams in adopting higher data quality standards Provide technical leadership in data quality analysis and coach junior colleagues Drive continuous improvement in data quality tools, processes, and approaches Tasks Significant experience in reviewing analytical outputs and data products to improve data quality Experience with data visualisation software, notably Power BI Proven track record delivering data quality improvement projects Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience developing data management standards, policies, and practices for data quality Desirable: experience delivering in an agile, iterative environment Key requirements 30 days annual leave after 2 years Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme contribution hybrid working (1 day in office) flexible working hours training and development opportunities central offices with supportive networks
