If you're experienced in hoist maintenance, enjoy variety in your work, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.Based from a "home" depot, you'll work across a defined region, supporting multiple GAP depots and customer sites as required. You'll provide additional fitting resource where demand is highest, helping to reduce downtime, clear backlogs, and keep equipment hire ready across the region.What You'll Be DoingServicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of lifting and hoist equipment across the GAP fleetDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs at depots and customer sites across the

regionInstal, dismantle and maintain our hire fleet of construction hoistsProviding additional technical support at depots where backlogs, capacity, or skills gaps existCompleting planned servicing, repairs, and refurbishments to support equipment availability and minimise downtimeChecking, testing, and tagging equipment, accurately completing service records, test certificates, and associated paperworkPlease note, this role involves regular travel across the regionAbout YouWhat You'll BringWe're looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach, including:Proven experience as a hoist engineer or experienced lifting equipment engineer with a relevant qualification, or time-served background in an industry with transferable skills is welcomedStrong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently across different depots and customer sitesA flexible approach to travel and changing regional prioritiesStrong organisation and time
