  • Ensure the security, resilience, and performance of all systems, supporting over 1,200 endpoints and critical services
  • Deliver and support complex ICT projects aligned to organisational and national priorities
  • Provide expert technical leadership and third-line support across a wide range of technologies
  • Support the development of ICT Support Analysts within the team
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams, NHS Scotland partners, and third-party suppliers
  • Lead on research, evaluation, and implementation of emerging technologies
  • Support ICT governance including disaster recovery, business continuity, and security compliance
  • Contribute to ICT strategy, service improvement, and operational planning

  • Experience in staff supervision, mentoring, or team leadership
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Microsoft certifications or willingness to work towards them
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business solutions
  • A proactive and innovative mindset
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, secure ICT services
