Job Description
Senior Information Analyst
Waverley Court (Hybrid)
We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our growing Data, Analysis and Reporting team (DART) in the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP).
EHSCP is made up of City of Edinburgh Council, NHS Lothian colleagues and third sector partners, all delivering health and social care to keep Edinburgh healthy, cared for and safe. To achieve an Edinburgh health and social care service that’s fit for the future, we’re revolutionising what we do to deliver even more meaningful care across the city. We want to deliver the right care, at the right time and in the right place, in partnership with those we support.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we are expanding our data, analytical and intelligence capabilities to support us to achieve the best outcomes for Edinburgh residents.
As Senior Information Analyst, you will be a key member of our team, reporting to the DART Team Leader. We are recruiting for one 12 month fixed term posts in the team to build a robust analytical service to provide strategic insight, drive progress and evidence achievement across the organisation. You will be responsible for providing high quality data analysis and performance reporting, working in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation on a range of services and topics.
Working with performance and data colleagues in NHS Lothian, the City of Edinburgh Council and partners, you will lead on the interpretation, analysis and translation of data to help inform robust, evidence-based decision making and performance reporting within the EHSCP. You will use your skills in data analysis to provide a professional advice and support service for team members, colleagues and stakeholders. This will involve working with senior management to use data to improve services, reflecting the needs of colleagues, communities and stakeholders.
With an undergraduate degree or equivalent and numerical and statistical experience, you will have proven background interpreting, analysing and presenting complex data to enable evidence-based decisions. You will have the ability to analyse complex data sets, develop potential solutions to issues, draw conclusions and present findings in accessible ways to inform strategic decision making. You will have knowledge of robust statistical methods and techniques and experience with performance reporting/measurement. The successful candidates will also have a proven ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
This is an integrated post and the successful candidate will be able to choose between NHS Lothian employment and City of Edinburgh Council employment.
