Senior Infrastructure Engineer

RSK LDE Ltd was formed in 2003 after a number of specialist design engineers joined RSK in order to strengthen its existing in-house capabilities. It now has a highly experienced team made up of professional civil and structural engineering staff with many years experience in the assessment, design and construction of major development projects.

Responsibilities:

Deliver designs for infrastructure projects on time and to budget.

Input into engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to.

Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 etc.).

Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice.

Maintain effective communication with design team and other stakeholders.

Ensure LDE's quality procedures are complied with.

Understand fee preparation and project cost budgets.

Assist in mentoring and managing junior staff.

Assist with technical report production.

Working knowledge of: -Highway design and ground modelling.

Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems.

Autocad,

PDS/XP Site 3D (or similar),

Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar),

Microsoft packages.

Ideally 5+ years experience in a similar sector within Consultancy.

Educated to degree or HNC level.
