Full Job Description
Provide installation engineering solutions for study, tender & execution phases of projects as part of I&C Engineering deliverables, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, & budget, with a continuous focus on safety, quality, delivery targets, & customer satisfaction., Performs in accordance with department & projects instructions, schedules, processes, & HSE requirements:
- Technically correct & optimized engineering solutions
- Technical assistance within projects, & manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites
Writes and issues technical specifications & reports related to installation activities within Subsea projects & operations
Supervises more "junior" engineering personnel by checking their engineering solutions & ensures quality & effectiveness of deliverables
Works on design basis for projects and/or manufacturing operations
Interfaces with other engineering disciplines & with project functional disciplines, such as procurement and planning
Be an integrated part of UK GBU Engineering Department delivering installation engineering support & assurance for subsea projects & operations, tenders, & engineering studies
Participate &/or deliver Technical Assurance Reviews within UK GBU
Deliver, support &/or participate in Risk Reviews & HIRAs when required
Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
Strong technical basis in engineering
Good organisational & problem solving skills
Good command of English, both written & spoken
Ability to work in a team environment
Good presentation skills
A significant number of years experience as either an Installation Engineer, Project Engineer or other engineering discipline within subsea engineering projects, including a broad knowledge of both diving & diverless operations
Should be experienced in risk assessment, mitigation management, management of change & offshore vessel orientated operations
Must have knowledge of regional regulations & industry guidance/standards
