Do you have what it takes to make a difference and to help shape the way North Lanarkshire’s Health and Social Care Partnership’s services will work together in the future?

Based within Headquarters, Motherwell, you will lead, develop, monitor and assist arrangements for the commissioning, procurement, contracting and compliance agenda for integrated services within the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

You will be responsible for designated services and for leading and managing a team of staff.   You will also have a lead responsibility for assuring a range of professional and regulatory standards are met and quality assurance for social work and registered services, including commissioning, contracting, planning and performance across a range of provided and purchased services.

This post is for someone who is going to embed and apply a contracting and monitoring framework applicable to all in-house integrated services, together with devising and implementing a cohesive model of quality assurance applicable across integrated services.   You must be able to work collaboratively, imaginatively and innovatively to make a real difference.

You will have excellent leadership skills to ensure that staff have an awareness of the strategic goals and objectives of the service and are able to align their work with them, as well as having strong analytical skills combined with the ability to scan the external environment and interpret emerging public policy themes which impact upon Health, Social Work and Social Care Services.

A professional diploma, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline with substantial management experience within Social Work or other relevant discipline at a senior level, a proven track record in leadership and development of modern services and evidenced track record of successful inter-agency partnerships working are essential.    A relevant Post Graduate or Management qualification and experience of managing social work, social care, health or other relevant services are desirable.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.  You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
