Senior Night shift care assistant

Abbey House is a friendly 15-bedded residential care home providing high-quality person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Carer to join our night team., As Senior Carer, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive excellent overnight care while supporting junior staff and maintaining a calm, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the night., Deliver high standards of person-centred care
Administer and record medication in line with procedures
Lead and support care staff during night shifts
Respond promptly to residents' needs and emergencies
Maintain accurate care records and handovers
Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential care setting
Medication administration experience preferred
SVQ/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care desirable but full training opportunity available
Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
Ability to work independently during night shifts
