Senior Process Engineer

As part of the Process Engineering team at Babcock LGE, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative engineering projects, driving technical excellence and ensuring high-quality design outputs. Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

• Lead and deliver safe, innovative process engineering solutions for marine liquefied gas projects, ensuring technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage, mentor and provide technical oversight to Process Engineers and Graduate Engineers, including reviewing and approving engineering deliverables.
• Develop and maintain key process engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, process calculations, equipment specifications and datasheets, commissioning procedures and operating manuals.
• Participate in design reviews and process safety studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and FMEA, while producing control philosophies and supporting the production of functional design specifications.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, shipyards, shipowners and classification societies to resolve technical issues and support testing, commissioning and project delivery activities.
This role is full time, Hybrid working patterns are available.


• Strong background in process design at Senior, Lead or Principal level, with proficiency in UniSim Design or Aspen HYSYS and the ability to manage multiple projects., Degree Qualified in Chemical Engineering (Or Equivalent) Chartered Status Desirable at least 8 years of experience, The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
