They are ambitious, agile, and committed to building a business that delivers long-term value to clients, employees, and partners.
They are now looking for a proactive Senior Revit Technician to support the delivery of major water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects. You will play a central role in shaping project outcomes and driving design quality across multidisciplinary teams.
Our client takes pride in being a small-sized company that provides the ideal environment for professionals seeking rapid career progression. Their commitment to growth means you can be at the forefront of exciting developments in the water industry and enjoy the rewards that come with it.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for developing coordinated Revit models, technical drawings, schedules, and detailed design deliverables across multidisciplinary projects. Working closely with engineers, designers, BIM coordinators, and project teams, you will support and contribute to the implementation and improvement of BIM standards, ensure model accuracy and compliance, and help deliver projects from concept design through to construction, commissioning, handover, and as-built stages.
As a senior member of the technical team, you will provide guidance to junior technicians, promote best practice in Revit and BIM workflows, and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital delivery processes. A key part of the role will include creating, modifying, and managing Autodesk Revit families to support detailed design production, coordinated model delivery, and consistent project outputs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, coordinate, and maintain high-quality Autodesk Revit models, technical drawings, schedules, and detailed design deliverables using Revit and associated digital design tools.
* Produce and coordinate multidisciplinary models and drawing packages in line with project BIM Execution Plans, client requirements, company standards, and project delivery requirements.
* Coordinate model interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical, process, structural, and architectural disciplines, supporting clash review, model federation, and resolution of design coordination issues.
* Support and contribute to the implementation and improvement of BIM standards, workflows, templates, and digital delivery processes across the business.
* Carry out model and drawing quality checks to support accuracy, consistency, data integrity, and compliance with relevant project, client, industry, and quality requirements.
* Create, modify, and manage Autodesk Revit families to support detailed design production and coordinated model delivery.
* Participate in design reviews, model coordination meetings, and client workshops, providing technical input and BIM expertise.
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, promoting best practice in Revit modelling and BIM methodologies.
* Liaise with engineers, project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to support coordinated project delivery and resolve technical queries.
* Support the preparation of project deliverables, including model exports, drawing issue packages, schedules, asset information, digital handover documentation, and as-built information.
* Ensure all modelling and drawing activities comply with relevant standards, health & safety requirements, client specifications, and company quality procedures.
* Contribute to the planning and management of project workloads, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and digital delivery across the team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* HNC/HND, apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Services, Construction, BIM, Engineering Design, or a related discipline.
* Significant experience as a Revit Technician within the water, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy sectors.
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM processes, modelling standards, and coordinated multidisciplinary design.
* Proven experience producing and coordinating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, schedules, and construction documentation across multiple project stages.
* Strong understanding of BIM standards and industry best practice, including ISO 19650 and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
