Job Description Join Our Team as a Senior Site Manager! Are you ready to make a real impact? We're on the lookout for a Senior Site Manager to join our dynamic team at Craig Millar & Peffermill in beautiful Edinburgh!Location & Hours Location: Craig Millar & Peffermill, Edinburgh Hours: 42.5 hours per week (with some flexibility available-just let us know during our chat!) Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.Your Role As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering retrofit works on two high-rise blocks just outside of Edinburgh. Your work will encompass: Overseeing sub-contractor partners to ensure safe and high-quality delivery of work packages, including groundworks, roofing, cladding, and interior fit-out. Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to guarantee safe working methods. Coordinating site logistics and the movement of plant and labor while upholding safety standards. Mentoring and developing junior

Kier management staff to enhance their on-the-job learning. Acting as the first point of escalation to resolve site issues and collaborating with the wider project team to find solutions. What We're Looking For This role is perfect for you if you: Have proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry and main contracting environment. Possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of safe site operations. Have a strong technical understanding of various construction packages. Hold a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ or Technical Trade), SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification. Exhibit strong influencing skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with on-site sub-contractors. At Kier, we value potential!
