Senior Solicitor

We are currently partnering with Frasia Wright to recruit a Senior Regulation Solicitor Based in Edinburgh, this role sits within the Regulatory Team. The position is full-time and permanent, with flexible hybrid working available. This role will provide expert legal and regulatory advice to the Society on its statutory framework and regulatory regimes, lead the development and implementation of regulatory frameworks for authorised legal businesses and licensed legal services providers, and act as Secretary to the Appeals and Reviews Sub-committee. The role also plays a wider part in supporting the Society to operate effectively as a modern, proportionate and trusted regulator. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for managing two regulation solicitors and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and experience in regulatory law, public law, professional discipline, or complaints work. Candidates should have strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with experience advising on complex legal issues and an interest in legislative and regulatory reform.
