About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team. What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Support Worker
- Advising, supporting and supervising the staff team: under the guidance of the Service Manager
- Making a real difference every day: by delivering person-centred support that celebrates each individual’s goals, interests and unique personality
- Supporting a diverse range of individuals: with varying needs, including autism, dementia, epilepsy, learning disabilities, mental health, and drug and alcohol support
- Promoting choice and independence: by empowering people to make decisions, achieve their goals, and live life on their own terms
- Building positive, meaningful relationships: founded on trust, respect and genuine understanding
- Helping people thrive: by providing encouragement, positivity and tailored support that enables them to live fulfilling and rewarding lives
- Bringing positivity every day: by helping individuals thrive in their own unique way
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a difference
- Great communication and listening skills
- Flexibility and adaptability as no two days are the same as a Senior Support Worker within our Crieff Services
- Applicants to hold an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, or the willingness and ability to undertake study to achieve this
- Applicants to hold a Professional Development Award in Supervisory Management, or the willingness and ability to undertake study to achieve this
Please Note: registering with the Scottish Social Services Council is a requirement of this role.
