Delight Supported Living Ltd, a nationwide Domiciliary Care company is seeking to recruit senior support worker to work in and around East Ayrshire. If you are an enthusiastic and motivated individual, please apply and be part of our valued team.

Senior Support Worker position available £14.15 per hour enhanced rate for a driver with their own car, plus 35p per mile.

The successful applicants will work with the ethics of the organisation which focus on ensuring that service delivery is person centred in accordance with agreed Care Plan.

Main duties & responsibilities

To participate in the preparation of meals with Service Users where appropriate
To be involved in all aspects of personal care eg: toileting, washing, bathing, showering and shaving. Assisting and ensuring high standards of personal hygiene at all times.
To assist with the daily running of the household eg: shopping, light household tasks and daily living
To be aware of the health, hygiene and safety aspects of daily household living. Ensure all functions are carried out with the minimal of risk to yourself and others. To communicate with Service Users, their relatives and other professionals to ensure the continuity of quality and safety in the provision of services. To undertake all necessary duties appropriate to the post.

SVQ 2/3 is desirable but not essential as we actively support staff development. In addition all employees are given their own training schedule at induction, which outlines our commitment for the year ahead.
