As part of its extensive portfolio of provision for adults, The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL), within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences delivers a successful and well-regarded suite of counselling courses with the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills at its centre. It is now seeking to expand its counselling team to teach on the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate as well as input into the development and delivery of new courses and CPD. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of counselling practitioners and educators and be part of a Centre which is entrepreneurial, people-oriented and driven to harness new business opportunities as they arise. The post would suit an enthusiastic and proactive individual with experience of teaching counselling skills and theory, (ideally the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills), course content creation and experience in a range of counselling settings and with different modalities.
Experience of online teaching and learning would be advantageous. The post will be based in CLL but agile working arrangements can be discussed. There may be some out of standard hours work required for teaching (evening and/or weekend).
Initial interviews have been scheduled for 20/06/2025
