Stitch Your Future with a Trusted Textile Manufacturer

Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist or machine operator looking for steady work, long‑term prospects and a supportive team environment? We are recruiting Sewing Machinists to join an established and well‑respected textile manufacturer, producing high‑quality technical textile products.

This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role for people who take pride in precision, enjoy practical work and thrive in a fast‑paced production setting. You'll be working with industrial sewing machinery, contributing directly to the quality and consistency of specialist textile products.

Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity to strengthen your skills and build a long‑term career within the technical textiles sector.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating Industrial Sewing Machinery
You'll set up, operate and monitor industrial sewing machines, ensuring smooth and efficient running throughout your shift. Over time, you'll develop strong machine knowledge and confidence in your role.
  • Delivering Quality and Consistency
You'll work to agreed production targets while maintaining strict quality standards, ensuring every product meets specification. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Carrying Out Quality Checks and Reporting
You'll complete quality inspections, maintain accurate records and report any faults or concerns promptly to supervisors to minimise disruption.
  • Maintaining a Safe and Tidy Work Area
Health and safety are a priority. You'll keep your workstation clean, organised and compliant with all safety procedures.
  • Working as Part of a Close‑Knit Team
Although you'll operate your own machine, you'll be part of a wider production team working towards shared goals. Reliability, communication and teamwork are key.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous sewing or machine operating experience is essential
  • Manufacturing or technical textile experience is highly desirable
  • Good physical fitness for a busy, hands‑on production role
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high‑quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, reliable approach with good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and reliable transport for both patterns

What You'll Gain

  • Full Training and Ongoing Support
You'll receive structured training and ongoing guidance to help you succeed on industrial machinery.
  • Stable Working Hours
Monday to Friday working with a clear, predictable shift pattern.
  • Competitive Pay
Earn 13.90 per hour while developing valuable technical and manufacturing skills.
  • Supportive Working Environment
Join a professional, safety‑focused team where experience is shared and support is always available.
  • Long‑Term Opportunities
This ongoing temporary assignment offers genuine prospects for permanent employment.

About the Workplace

You'll join a well‑organised production environment known for its focus on quality, teamwork and safety. Supervisors and experienced colleagues provide ongoing support, making this a workplace where people are encouraged to develop and succeed.
