Full Job Description


For a family farm 3 miles east of Perth.

 

Primary role: Manage and improve the performance of the sheep flock. The farm is currently stocked with 700 commercial ewes. Lambs are finished on farm.


Secondary role: Help with the cattle enterprise of 100 pedigree Charolais cows and 150 commercials. Operate machinery at busy arable times and perform general agriculture duties.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of running a flock.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of livestock care and management.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.

 

The package includes an oil central heated 3-bedroom house with kennels located on a bus route to a good school.

Salary and commission based on experience of applicant.

 

Full UK driving licence required.
