Full Job Description

At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Site Control Infrastructure Coordinator at our RNAD Coulport site., As a Site Control Infrastructure Coordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a vital role in supporting the safe coordination and management of infrastructure activities at one of the United Kingdom's most strategic defence sites. Working closely with site leadership, you'll ensure that processes, contractors and site activities are effectively controlled and compliant with health, safety and environmental standards. Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

  • Managing work authorisations and coordinating processes through SharePoint systems
  • Carrying out site visits and conducting health and safety inspections across non-operational buildings
  • Liaising with Ministry of Defence personnel, project teams and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinating contractors on site, ensuring compliance with site rules and authorisation requirements
  • Supporting administrative activities and reporting findings to the Site Control team
  • This role is part time, 9 hours per week every Monday 07:15 - 16:45 and is based on site at RNAD Coulport.

    Essential experience of the Site Control Infrastructure Coordinator
  • Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Excel in a professional environment
  • Understanding of health, safety and environmental practices
  • Proven ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced or high-demand setting
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to manage priorities and resolve challenges
  • Qualifications for the Site Control Infrastructure Coordinator
  • National 5 or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using SharePoint systems
  • IOSH Workplace Risk Assessor qualification is desirable
  • Knowledge of Construction Design and Management regulations is desirable
  • Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
