Freelance Site Engineer – Linear HV Cable Works

We’re supporting a contractor in Dunbar who urgently requires a Freelance Civil Engineer to assist with linear HV cable works, including duct installation, roads, drainage and associated civils.

The Role

• Surveying and setting out across a linear route

• Installing ducts, roads, drainage and general civils

• Using GPS equipment confidently

• Maintaining accurate records, quality checks and documentation (iPad-based uploads)

• CAD and Civils 3D experience preferred
  
  

What They’re Looking For

• Experience on linear projects (cable routes, pipelines, utilities, highways etc.)

• Strong setting out and surveying background

• Good with GPS, QA and digital record keeping

• Ideally local
