Site Engineer – Civil Engineering

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a successful civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and construction projects across the UK.

The Site Engineer will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in line with project specifications. This Site Engineer position offers exposure to major projects and excellent opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out duties and ensure works are constructed within specified tolerances.
• Support project delivery through accurate surveying, measurement and dimensional control.
• Assist with testing and inspection procedures across all site activities.
• Maintain records relating to quality, progress and compliance.
• Work closely with site management teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure calibration records and setting out equipment are correctly maintained.
• Implement health and safety procedures and promote best practice on site.
• Support the successful delivery of projects through proactive engineering input.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within construction or civil engineering.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• CSCS Card and First Aid qualification desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
