Site Engineer – Civil Engineering Projects

Peace Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join major civil engineering projects across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large-scale infrastructure development, playing a key role in ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works using total station and GPS equipment
• Reading, interpreting, and verifying engineering drawings and specifications
• Monitoring levels, dimensions, and quality of ongoing works
• Assisting in resolving technical issues in collaboration with engineers and site management
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and as-built surveys
• Supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large civil or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with total stations, GPS, and surveying equipment
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to high standards of quality, safety, and performance

Desirable

• First Aid or additional health & safety qualifications
