BAM Ritchies of BAM UK&I require a Site Manager to work within the Geotechnical Engineering department of their business. As a Site Manager you are expected to play a leading role in the planning and execution of our works, across the UK to the exacting standard expected of our customers.

Your mission
- Contribute to tender stage and site phase methodology
- Implement and promote safe systems of work over all activities
- Directly supervise section/trades foreman and sub-contractors
- Supervise operations through effective delegation
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Assist development of the workforce and identify training requirements
- Ensure high standard of quality on the works to at least meet the specification requirements
- SMSTS
- PTS
- First Aid at Work
- Medium Risk Confined Space Level 2 C&G or greater (desired but training can be provided)
- Strong personal skills to communicate effectively at all levels
- Promote a culture of exceeding expectations
- Awareness of project and business goals and able to relay these to the project team to increase workforce engagement with business
- Practical experience and knowledge of a comprehensive range of ground engineering methods and techniques
- You motivate and develop your team to work with each other and constructively help to resolve problems practical
