Site Manager

A well-established and reputable main contractor with a strong presence across Scotland is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support the delivery of a key education project in Edinburgh. The business has an excellent track record in delivering high-quality construction and landscaping works across both public and private sectors.

Your new role
You will be joining a live project at Currie High School, overseeing both hard and soft landscaping packages. This will include supervision of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.The role is due to commence at the beginning of June and is expected to run for a minimum of 12 weeks. Day-to-day responsibilities will include site coordination, health & safety compliance, progress reporting, and maintaining strong communication with the wider project team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within landscaping or external works packages
• Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
• Be confident managing subcontractors and maintaining high HSEQ standards
• Be willing to undergo Disclosure Scotland clearance prior to starting
