Housing & Technical Resources
Location: Hamilton Business Unit, Pollock Avenue, Hamilton
Hours 39 hours per week
Fixed Term until 30th September 2024
Housing & Technical Resources require two motivated individuals to join a busy department servicing the Building Services team in Hamilton.
Your primary role will involve loading and unloading items to and from the stores, general housekeeping duties, issue receipt and maintenance of adequate stock.
You will have a proven track record within a stores environment, the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, awareness of health and safety in the workplace and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and suppliers. You will also be required to demonstrate excellent customer care skills.
In return, you will be placed on the above scale dependent on experience and you will become part of a team committed to delivering continuous improvement to the performance of the Council’s Building Services Team.
As this post involves accessing the public services network, the preferred candidate will be subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS). The preferred candidate will be subject to a Basic Disclosure provided by Disclosure Scotland prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
