Post Title: Social Worker 
Location: Family Resource Centre, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £46,155 - £49,959 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:

Ensuring that National Standards in Fostering & Adoption are met.

Recruiting, assessing, supporting and training Foster Carers and Prospective Adopters

Working with carers to implement Child Plans and Permanency Plans.

Providing placements, supervision and support to carers which may involve doing emergency Social Work.

Providing Post Adoption Support

Undertaking adoption counselling with adults who have been affected by adoption

Requirements

Social work qualification e.g Dip SW or recognised equivalent

Registration as a Social Worker with the SSSC
