Full Job Description

Job Description

Clackmannanshire Family Connections Team comprises of three registered services: fostering, adoption, and adult placement (continuing care). We are a team who has recently grown in size, with a focus on investing our resources on strengthening and supporting our care community to keep The Promise locally.

The goal of our service is to create the conditions for our care community to thrive through relationship based practice, high quality supervision and training for social workers and caregivers, and through celebration of the role our caregivers play providing love, care and support for children and young people.

The right candidate will: demonstrate a good understanding of what The Promise means for fostering, adoption and continuing care services; champion the importance of relationships and community; and be passionate about continuous improvement, particularly in the context of expectations of regulated services.

This is a great time to be joining our team and we would welcome applications from social workers with experience working in fostering or children’s services.

Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with the SSSC. Please contact Aileen Shillington (Team Leader) at if you would like to have an informal discussion about this post.
