Full Job Description
Experteer Overview Accenture is seeking a Java-focused full-stack Software Engineer in Glasgow/Edinburgh who is willing to travel to client sites across the UK. You will build digital products for clients, own features end-to-end from design to deployment, and lead others within delivery teams. You'll work with AWS cloud-native services, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions while maintaining accessibility and security standards. The role includes contributing to internal engineering communities and shaping discussions across diverse problem spaces. - Build end-to-end features for client digital products from design to deployment Lead and collaborate within a delivery team to ensure quality and value Promote engineering best practices, automation, and low-complexity solutions Contribute to internal and regional engineering communities and knowledge sharing Engage across diverse problem spaces and domains with cross-functional teams Tasks Several years of industry experience as a Java-focused full-stack engineer with front-end experience using React, Angular or Vue Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions with ownership from design to production support Strong hands-on experience with AWS and deploying code in live environments Experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi) Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) High engineering standards for accessibility, security, performance and caching across the full stack Comfortable as a key contributor within a delivery team and collaborating with engineers, testers and product roles Key requirements 25 days' vacation per year private medical insurance 3 extra days leave for charitable work
