Solicitor / Associate - Construction Professional Indemnity

Experteer Overview In this role you join the Professional Indemnity Team to handle construction-related PI claims for UK and global insurers. You will work under supervision on varied cases, build client relationships, and contribute to the team's growth and market presence. You will support coverage and dispute matters, including ADR, with opportunities to lead smaller matters and coordinate with experts and Counsel. The position offers exposure to high-profile matters and cross-functional collaboration to evolve the practice. You will help shape strategy and deliver pragmatic, commercially-focused advice. • Build and maintain client relationships under supervision, providing clear, commercial advice and updates on strategy and risks Manage a varied caseload of construction-related PI claims for a broad client base Assist insurers with coverage issues under construction PI policies, with partner oversight Handle matters from instruction to pre-action and litigation stages, including drafting and managing evidence Take day-to-day ownership of files while supporting Partners on larger matters Contribute to dispute resolution through ADR and coordinate with experts and Counsel Tasks Professional indemnity and/or construction expertise Strong relationship and client handling skills Ability to manage a caseload independently Self-sufficiency and reliability in case management Willingness to work in a demanding, growth-focused team Key requirements
