As a Solutions Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to lead our self blood glucose monitoring commercial programme across Scotland; including the development and implementation of our launch strategies for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). CGM will contribute to bringing novel glucose monitoring solutions to people living with all types of diabetes. As part of the Near Patient Care business unit, you will work closely with your colleagues to identify opportunities for our wider near patient care portfolio. In this role, you will directly contribute to the Roche Diagnostics 10 year ambition to double patient access to novel, high-medical-value diagnostics solutions Your key responsibilities
- Your main focus is in the delivery of the commercial strategy for self glucose monitoring & digital solutions in Scotland and the Healthboards within.
- Understanding, navigating, and keeping current with NHS programs, to enable effective execution of commercial strategies.
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement with clinical and financial key opinion leaders across Primary and Secondary cares to maximise peer to peer influence and advocacy.
- Building a network of clinical and non clinical advocates and ambassadors who can influence the uptake of the product portfolio and diabetes digital ecosystem.
- Supporting and training of healthcare professionals in the use of our diabetes solutions.
- Prospecting and lead generation for the wider near patient care portfolio. Who you are
- You enjoy working in a diverse, multicultural, fast paced environment and are eager to act as a catalyst for advancing the diabetes self glucose monitoring & digital portfolios for the benefit of people living with diabetes across Scotland.
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree (business management, life sciences or nursing fields are preferred), other relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree is a plus.
- You have previous sales experience (experience in diabetes disease area is preferred).
- You posses proficient written and verbal communication English
- You have exposure to medical and market access topics and experience working cross-functionally.
